At our concert in Tokyo, April 30, we were honoured by the presence in the audience of Mrs. Maria Kodama, the widow of Jorge Luis Borges, accompanied by the Argentine Ambassador and the culture attache.

Wonderful 2nd. Japan Tour of Piarango
The duett Piarango had a great succes in his second Japan Tour. It has played in Osaka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Tokyo, Miharu and Sendai. Wonderful! We hope, we can come back very soon to this beautiful country.

Concert in Belfast
The concert at 4.02.2010 of Piarango at the High Court, Belfast was a great success. The audience included many prominent figures from the justice and political circles of Northern Ireland.

Outstanding success of Piarango in the Berlin Philharmonic
On 30.12.2009 Piarango performed to a full house in the KMS of the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. The concert, shared with the tango ensemble "Cantango Berlin", was received by the audience with great enthusiasm and applause.

With new website, for new luck and more success!
Our website has been relaunched and is now online with a new look. The new design was adapted to forms and colours of the current album "Misa Criolla". Also some extensions were implemented as well as contents were edited, in order to inform our visitors in the best possible way about the duet Piarango. We wish you a lot of joy!

¡Aquí Cosquín! – Folklore festival "Cosquín en Japón"
Piarango were featured guests at the Festival "Cosquín en Japón", which took place from 10-12 of October in the locality of Kawamata, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Since 1981 this Japanese city has prevented this event every year, inspired by the folkloric festival of Cosquín in Argentina.

The argentine artists José Hernán Cibils (piano) and Patricio Zeoli (Charango) delight us on this CD with own compositions, the "Misa Criolla" from Ariel Ramírez and another exciting folkloristic music from Argentina, Bolivia and Peru.

Piarango played for Unescos World day of the cultural variety
Piarango played at the final concert for the "Unesco world day of the cultural variety" at the Lichtburgforum in Berlin. This day was celebrated on May 23rd for the third time in the Garden-City Atlantic with Music, Art, Theater and many other activities for young people as well as for old ones.
